Recognized Hunter Jumper Horse Shows
Hunter Jumper Shows in Alabama can be recognized by several organizations. Most common are the Alabama Hunter Jumper Association, Central Alabama Equestrians (new for 2009), Georgia Hunter Jumper Association, and Southern Hunter Jumper Association.
If you are ready to move up to recognized hunter horse shows, refer to the organization's website for rules and regulations. You don't have to be a member to participate, but expect to pay a non member fee. Recognized shows offer a large class list, and coats are waived for extreme heat only. Braiding is preferred, but not required.
